the place of love

About The Artist

Miyoun (Mimi) is a Korean-born painter whose work seeks beauty beyond the surface—beauty that heals, uplifts, and connects. Drawing from both Asian and Western traditions, her visual language blends the stillness and simplicity of Eastern art with the emotional freedom and boldness of the West. She aims to create pieces that bypass intellect and speak directly to the soul, offering moments of peace, clarity, and quiet reflection. After a career in aviation technology, she returned to painting full-time during the pandemic, reconnecting with her lifelong passion.

About The Exhibition

The Place of Love invites viewers into a dreamlike space where themes of love, healing, and emotional truth unfold gently. Through vibrant colors and serene compositions, Mimi’s paintings radiate a quiet, positive energy. Influenced by her bicultural background, the works offer a space of stillness in a noisy world—an invitation to pause, feel, and begin to heal through beauty and presence.
