Terry Denson is best known for her dramatically lit paintings of tropical foliage and still life paintings, and Southwestern landscapes. Light, and its impact on subjects is the real focus of her realistic watercolors, acrylics and oils. Terry Denson has lived in many parts of the United States and Caribbean and currently resides in St. Petersburg, FL. These locations, and others to which she has traveled, are reflected in her paintings.
She has displays in art festivals and exhibitions throughout the country. Her paintings have been used as promotional materials by a number of organizations and art festivals. Her works are in the collections of many corporations and public organizations. She is a signature member of the Florida Watercolor and the Kentucky Watercolor Societies and an associate member of the Women Artists of the West, the National Watercolor Society and the American Watercolor Society.
