Born in Havana, Cuba (1966)

Pedro Vizcaíno studied at San Alejandro Academy of Fine Arts; the Higher Institute of Art (ISA) in Havana, Cuba; and the Rene Portocarrero Silk Screen Print Shop, Havana, Cuba. He immigrated via Mexico, in1992. He has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions including The Cubans Have Already Arrived II, Nina Menocal Gallery, Mexico DF, Mexico (1992); Guns, Kisses and a Cuban Kamikaze, Ambrosino Gallery, Miami, Florida, USA (1999); and Atopia. Art of the City in the 21st Century, Center of Contemporary Culture of Barcelona, Spain (2010). He has received several awards including the Grant Prize, Mexico City, General Secretary of Social Development, Mexico DF, Mexico, and an Honorable Mention in Painting, 13th March Salon, Havana, Cuba.

He has lived in Miami, FL since 1993.
