Nathan Skiles earned his BFA from Ringling School of Art and Design in 2003, and his MFA from Montclair State University in 2006. As an artist, he primarily focuses on the complex role craft and technology play in the service of images of power and prosperity. He considers technology to be an indispensable component to his professional practice. An award-wining artist, Skiles has shown his works in solo and group exhibitions in galleries and museums throughout the United States. He joined the Ringling College of Art and Design’s faculty in 2010.
