Born in Havana, Cuba (1963)

Ana Albertina Delgado studied at San Alejandro Academy of Fine Arts; the Higher Institute of Art (ISA); and the Rene Portocarrero Silkscreen Print Shop, Havana, Cuba. She lived in Mexico from 1991 to 1993 prior to moving to the United States.

She has participated in numerous group exhibitions, including Kuba OK, Stadtische Kunstalle, Dusseldorf, Germany (1990); and Breaking Barriers: Selection from the Cuban Art Collection, Museum of Art Fort Lauderdale, FL (1987). Some of her solo shows include Eleggua, Bernice Steinbaum Gallery, Miami, FL (2002), and Ana Albertina Delgado, Drawing 1987-2011, Farside Gallery, Miami, FL (2011). She has received several awards including the Honorable Mention, Servando Cabrera Moreno Salon, Havana, Cuba; and the First Prize Installation, XVI Seminario Juvenil Martiano, Grupo Puré, ISA, Havana, Cuba.

She resides in Miami, FL.
