Founded in 2013, as the IceHouse Artspace on 10th, Alfstad& Contemporary is now located in the historic Rosemary District of downtown Sarasota. The gallery showcases internationally renowned artists — and exciting local artists — in a cutting-edge venue unlike any other in Florida, and has exhibited at art fairs and museums in Miami, New York and Stockholm.
Unique to the gallery is an in-house print studio that works with artists to produce accessibly-priced editions for both emerging and experienced art collectors. Alfstad& is exploring new ways to produce art, collaborate with artists and present multidimensional art exhibitions. The ultimate goal is to “Reimagine” how to make and market art and create an art brand recognized around the world.
