Born in Holguín, Cuba (1964)
Alejandro Aguilera studied at the Provincial School of Art (EPA), Holguín, Cuba; the Higher Institute of Art (ISA), Havana, Cuba; and the Massachusetts College of Art, Boston, MA. He left the Island via Mérida, Mexico DF and Monterrey, Mexico, in 1991. Aguilera has participated in numerous exhibitions.
